Sydney

Sydney was the second stop of the trip; 6 days (1st July to 6th July) were spent in the city. The objectives of this part were to

  • Understand the history of development of the City of Sydney
  • Explore why Sydney has been regarded as a World Class City
  • Identify those urban design features which make this city "liveable"
  • Identify urban planning, design or urban management features which could serve as an example for Hong Kong

Each day of the trip had a theme. Students were divided into 4 groups and examined different topics under the theme. There were presentations by each group during the evenings.
